Grammar enthusiast. People person. Creative storyteller at heart.
Hi, My name is Georgia Krodel! I’m a public relations major with a minor in political science at Auburn University, with a passion for strategic communication, storytelling and grammar. As a self-proclaimed grammar enthusiast, I care deeply about how messages are crafted because I believe the smallest details can shape the biggest impressions.
I love writing in all its forms, from creative projects to professional communication, and I thrive on building genuine, relational connections. Honestly, striking up a conversation with someone new is one of my favorite things to do. That natural curiosity has shaped both my academic and extracurricular experiences, where I’ve been involved in organizations like SGA, Project Uplift, my sorority and campus ministry.
Through my PR coursework, I’ve developed a strong foundation in research-based strategy, campaign development, and audience-centered messaging. I’ve also gained experience in collaborative environments, learning how to work effectively in teams while contributing ideas that are both creative and analytically grounded. Whether I’m designing a campaign or refining messaging, I enjoy the intersection of creativity and strategy that defines effective communication.
Outside of academics, I’m always finding ways to create, whether that’s collaging, making personalized cards for friends, or experimenting in the kitchen. My love for creativity, connection and food has shaped my dream of working in culinary PR, partnering with restaurants and chefs to tell their stories in meaningful and engaging ways.
I’m also an avid traveler who finds joy in exploring new cultures and experiencing the world’s natural beauty, from autumn in the English countryside to a clear view of Mount Fuji. These experiences continue to inspire the way I think about storytelling, culture and connection.
This summer, I’m excited to intern with The Washington Ballet, working under the marketing and communications director to gain hands-on experience in the field. I’m eager to continue growing as a communicator and to bring creativity, strategy and curiosity into every project I take on.
